Job Description
We are looking for Ultrasound Systems Engineer to play a key role in creating our next generation of ultrasound products that are saving lives around the world. The specific role will be around ownership and releasing tissue-specific presets for the China Market.
Your role:
Work in collaboration with clinicians and clinical sonographers to optimize diagnostic ultrasound systems for optimum image quality on a range of transducers and imaging features.
Conduct clinical evaluations in partnership with Clinical Product Managers to get feedback on Image Quality and translate that to engineer requirements and data changes .
Develop understanding of current signal path and optimization tools.
Apply advanced techniques such as deep learning and AI to improve ultrasound-imaging performance. Develop data augmentation methods based on ultrasound physics and imaging artifacts.
Specification of new imaging algorithms and imaging sub-systems and their effects on product performance
Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management organizations to define new feature requirements to meet specific clinical applications and market needs. Help translate marketing/customer requirements into engineering specifications.
Provide training and support to customers and field post-release
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 3 years’ experience in ultrasound research and/or product development focused on ultrasound beamforming, antenna design/modeling, optimal acquisition design, signal and image processing.
Experience working in a clinical environment with clinical professionals (sonographers) focused on clinical science/research and translational research.
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
You have strong technical capabilities (Python, C , MATLAB).
